Ask your doctor

What does the doctor says?

No matter how fit you are right now, check in with your doctor first. It’s important to make sure you don’t have any health conditions that could limit your activity. Keep checking in with your health care providers throughout your pregnancy to get advice on modifying your routine.

Experts agree that regular exercise is better than sporadic exercise. Short, frequent sessions are healthier than occasional bursts of activity. Once your doctor gives you the go-ahead to exercise, stay committed. Exercise three to five times per week, but don’t overexert yourself.
